Here’s a list of all the must-see events coming up this November and December:
MISD Tree Lighting & Concert - Nov 20, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Kick off the holiday season with a Mansfield favorite! Enjoy students from the Jandrucko Academy and Children Center singing holiday carols, then gather around the giant tree for the lighting ceremony. Perfect for family photos and holiday cards!
“Santa’s Going Digital” - Nov 21-23
Santa is navigating the tech world in this musical melodrama, competing with big box stores while trying to make Christmas perfect. Shows are: Nov 21 & 22 at 7:30 PM, and Nov 23 at 2:30 PM. Fun for the whole family!
Opera Arlington presents “Hansel & Gretel” - Nov 29-30
Celebrate the season with Humperdinck’s magical fairytale. Shows are Nov 29 at 7:00 PM and Nov 30 at 3:00 PM.
Toys for Tots - Dec 3, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
An evening packed with festive performances, photos with Santa, ice hill fun, train rides, food, and holiday cheer.
S’mores & Stories With Santa - Dec 4, 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Bring the family to the library for s’mores, hot chocolate, Christmas stories, and letters to Santa.
Hometown Holidays - Dec 5, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Lights, live entertainment, visits with Santa, carnival rides, petting zoo, and fireworks—this annual tradition has it all!
Snowman Run 5K - Dec 6, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
A festive 5K walk/run for the whole family with fun photo ops, a cheerful route, and hot cocoa & s’mores at the finish line.
Holiday at the House - Dec 6, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Celebrate the season at the Man House Museum! Make historic gifts, tour the decorated home, and enjoy an authentic 1870s Christmas. Admission is free!
Hometown Holidays Dance Spectacular - Dec 6, 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM
Step into the holiday spirit with MISD students performing in this annual dance showcase.
Mansfield Women’s Club Holiday Home Tour - Dec 7, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Tour beautifully decorated homes and get inspired for your own holiday decorating!
FaLaLaLa 5K - Dec 13, 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Run or walk in festive style! Santa will be there along with holiday surprises along the route.
Jane Austen Day Tea Party - Dec 13, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday with crafts, trivia, tea, and games for all ages.
Paint & Celebrate the Season - Dec 14, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Join illustrator Jacy Kennedy for a festive paint & sip event celebrating the joy of the season.
Believe! - Dec 18, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
All aboard the holiday fun train at Texas Health Mansfield! Meet Santa and his reindeer and dive into hands-on holiday cheer.
Art Ballet presents “The Nutcracker” - Dec 20, 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM
Experience the magic of Tchaikovsky’s classic with waltzing snowflakes, enchanted toys, and falling snow.
“Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic” - Dec 20-22
A hilarious twist on the wizarding world, following the overlooked students (the Puffs!) at a certain wizarding school.
